For the last month I have been doing an internship with Conchita Perez. It has been a thought month and hard working but the result were really worthy.

DIY-Personalize a blazer

The first day I didn't have classes I was a bit bored without having something interesting to do, so  between the boredom and the creativity in my mind I had an idea. I had a white blazer since I was more or less 14 years old, so almost 12 years ago, that I have rarely used so why don't try something different?
El primer dia que no tuve clases, estab un poco aburrida sin tener nada interesante que hacer, asi que entre el aburrimiento y la creatividad en mi mente tu ve una idea. Tenia un americana balnca desde hace como unos doce años que apenas he usado durante los ultimos años, ¿por que no probar algo diferente?

The first thing I did it was  to unpick  the sleeves ( including the lining, but this can be carefully cut too), the next step is sew all the end in the sleeves, and just doing that you have an interesting blazer-vest.
 El primer paso descoser las mangas (incluido el forro, aunque este se puede cortar con mucho cuidado), lo siguiente es coser el dobaldillo de las mangas para tener un chaleco bien construido.
 

 I went further I had some transfer paper sheets left from my last project and I had an illustration that I always wanted to have in my clothe, so I put in the back of the blazer and because this paper it is kind like a sticker once it was on the blazer you could see the border so I stitched around the picture, and I need to stitch some where else to match everything, I decide around the neck.

aprovchando que tenia algunas hojas de papel para transferir  fotos o dibujos a ropa y que siempre he querido una de mi illustraciones en ropa, la puse en la espalda de la americana, este papel actua y tiene la aparencia de una pegatina asi que para terminar y evitar esta apariencia de pagatina que no es muy agardable, cosi alrededor de la foto y para que quede mas en cojunto con la americana tambien cosi alredeor del cuello.

THE RESULT:

A really good year.....

This last "year" (academic year) has been one of the best ever for me. I have met lovely people, learn lots of useful and interesting things, I have travel in 16 days by more countries than in all my life, I have in Disneyland Paris and to finish this special this year a fantastic fashion show with my fantastic classmates and I have archive what I set to my self when I started this course,  get DISTINCTION grade.
Este ultimo "año" ( academico) ha sido uno de mis mejores. He conocido a gente estupenda, aprendido muchisimo, viajado por mas paises que en toda mi vida, he estado en DisneyLand y para terminar tuvimos un fashion show estupendo y he conseguido lo que me prospuse cuando empece, conseguir la califacion de Distinction.

Thank  to all the people who have made this possible, specially .....
Gracias a toda la gente que ha hacho esto posible, en especial.....

Happy New Year

There is just a few hours left to say good bye to 2011 and I didn't want to loose the opportunity of wishing you a very happy new year!!!!!.
Solo faltan uns horas para que decir Adios al 2011 y no queria perder la oportunidad de desearos un ¡¡¡Feliz Año Nuevo!!!
This year has been a great year for me so I can't ask for anything else, I just hope that for all that people that is having a bad time this new year brings happiness.
Este año ha sido genial para mi asi que no puedo pesdir nada mas, solo espero que las cosas mejoren para todas esas personas que estan pasando un mal momento.

I have a wedding

I can't believe that it has been three weeks since the wedding, but I am extremely busy since I have started the foundation diploma in fashion design, which ( I will write soon about this) I am enjoying very much.
No me puedo creer que hayan pasado tres semanas desde la boda, pero lo ciertto que estoy realmente ocupada desde que empece a estudiar, lo cual ( planeo escribir sobre esto pronto) estoy disfrutando un monton. 

Well, three weeks ago a friends get married in Madrid, Spain. I bought the dress about one month earlier because I was one day in Camden and I a friend of mine try that lovely dress and I liked it so we both bought it in different colours. But three weeks before the wedding I had another idea, when I was watching "Sex and the City" and wanted to completely change the style,
El mes pasado unos amigo se casaron en Madrid. Yo compre el vestido un mes antes, por que un dia estab en Camden y una amiga se lo probo y me encanto asiq ue nos lo compramos las dos en diferentes colores. Peroooo como tres semanas antes de la boda tuve una nueva idea completamnete diferente cuando veia "Sexo en Nueva York", 

Unfortunately  it was more difficult in the practise than the theory. I couldn't find the right skirt, I am not good enough yet to make it and it was to much rush to do something properly, anyway I was doing some experiments for a belt with different materials.
Desgraciadamente, era mas dificil de llevar a cabo de lo que pensaba. No encontre la falda, todavia no estoy preparada para hacerla y habia mucha prisa como para hacer algo decente, de todas formas hhice unos cuantos expereminetos para un cinturon o fajin.

Therefore, I wore the first dress I bought and to be honest for this kind of thing I think your first choice is the best. It was a quiet simple lace dress in blue with a very low back, I chose a basic; quiet shiny; black shoes ( high high heels, love it! ) and to give my special touch I made a fascinator, with blue feathers.
Al final, lleve el primer vestido, y siendosincera creo que fue una eleccion muy correcta. Un vestido con encaje en azul, que como detalle tiene el escote en la esplada, elegi unos xapatos basicos, un poco brillantes, negros ( muy altos, ¿que me encantan! y para darle un toque especial me hice un tocado con plumas azules.            

I am coming back- Second Chapter (Breaking new)

A picture of all my presents, in the picture don't appear all of them because with one I took the picture, so I have my new camera that I need to learn how to use but my looks are going to look much much better now.

Una foto de todos mis regalos, en realidad no todos por que con uno tuve que hacer la foto. por fin tengo mi camara nueva que tengo que aprender a utilizar pero los looks van a ganar mucha calidad de imagen ahora.

and to finish this post a breaking new, I had decided to study fashion design, finally, so next 21st of September I going to my registration in West London College to study a Foundation Diploma in Fashion Design that It will give me the opportunity to be accepted for fashion design degree  in a University.

Y para terminar una noticia chocante, he decidido estudiar diesño de moda, por fin, asi que el proximo 21 de Septiembre voy a registarme en West London College para estudiar Foundation Diploma in Fashion Desing, que me dara la oportunidad de ser aceptada para estudiar diseño de moda en un universidad.

Happy birthday to me

As it is now a tradition in my birthday it is a raining dark day in UK  but It is ok I have a lovely day in Cambridge and we will have a dinner in a really good Greek restaurant. I will attached pictures and details soon.
Como viene siendo una traducción ya en mi cumpleaños está siendo un día oscuro y lluvioso en UK. Pero no importa, he pasado un día maravilloso en Cambridge y está noche vamos a cenar aa un restaurante griego muy bueno. Pronto agregaré fotos y más detalles.

I would like to say Thanks to all the people who were following the blog even when I was disconnected for more than a month. I promise come back soon with more looks, and breaking news. Today I'm wearing, sweet rock

 Not really today but on Tuesday I was wearing this outfit. It was quite long now that I want to share with you this mid skirt. I bough it in my last travel to Madrid in "La Mona checa" a wonderful vintage shop located in the center of Madrid, they have really nice vintage clothe and good prices. The truth is that I wore this skirt sometimes until now, and I love it, you can play with it and wearing with a lot different styles, short top and military boots, shirt and heels, vest top and blazer....
En realidad no hoy pero el Martes leevaba este conjunto. Hace ya algun tiempo ahora que queria compartir con vosotros esta falda. La compré en mi ultimo viaje Madrid en "La Mona Checa" una tienda vintage localizada en el centro de Madrid, maravillosa con prendas vintages preciosas y unos precios muy buenos. La verda es que ya he llevado esta falda mas veces, y me encanta por que puede dar mucho juego y combinarla con un monton de cosas, una camiseta corta y unas botas militares, una camisa y unos tacones, una camiseta nadadora y una blazer....

Today I woke up with a really interesting new. It's know that H&M get used to work with great designer to launch limited collections, this time it's for VERSACE. There is not details yet but this is the  announcement video as advance. This promises, wait until November.

Hoy me he despertado con una noticia muy interesante. Es ya sabido que H&M suele trabajar con grandes diseñadores para lanzar coleciones especilaes, ahora le toca a VERSACE. Todavia n hay detallles pero este es el video del anuncio como adelanto. Esto promete, habra que esperar a Noviembre

black dress leopardd shoes

I have bought this leopard shoes in winter and I really like them but I  never found the occasion to wear them, until last month when  I went to have dinner to OXO tower for my boyfriend's mum birthday. I choose a quiet classic black dress and a black blazer to match them because I want to keep the attention in the shoes.
Compre estos zapatos el invierno pasado y me encantan, pero nunca conseguia encontrar la ocasion para llevarlos hasta el mes pasado cuando fui a cenar a la torre Oxo por el cumpleaños de la madre de mi novio. Elegi un vestido negro un poco clasico y una blazer tambien negra para mantener la atencion en los zapatos.

Jewelery trends

I am so sorry to have been off for this couple of weeks but I have had kind of busy social life (this is always good) and also I have had started a new short course, actually, the second part of Visual merchandising and Space management which I did the fist part  in February.
Siento haber estado fuera de circulación estas últimas dos semanas pero he tenido una vida social un tanto ocupada (lo que siempre es bueno) y ademas he empezado un nuevo curso, en realidad, la segunda parte de Visual merchandising and space managment el cual ya hice la primera parte en Febrero.

Summer is now here, the weather it's better, even here in London!, and we all start thinking in holidays, ocean, beach..... Until you can enjoy of all of this or if this year you are going to miss them, you can enjoy of this last trend and feel them a little bit more closer.
El verano ya esta qui, el tiempo es mejor ¡incluso aqui en londres!, y todos ya empezamos a pensar en vacaciones, oceano, playas....... Hata que puedas disfrutar de todo esto y si este año los vas a echar de menos, puedes disfrutar de esta ultima tendencia para sentirlos un poco mas cerca.

I am talking about all this jewellery that they are lately invading us. Coral and turquoise colours and designs that remind us the waves in the sea and in most of the cases replica of sea creatures, the most popular: the Starfish.
