 This season my two favorites colours are navy and tan, and I really love to match them, so here it's my idea to match navy (polka dots dress) that first I thought it could be to "girly" for me but we can give it another style with a few details.
Esta temporada mis dos colores favoritos son el navy y color bronceado, y me encanta mezclaros, asi que aqui esta mi idea de como combinar navy (un vestido con topos blancos) que en un principio pensé que podia ser ñoño para mi pero que podemos darle otro estilo con un par de detalles.

Work day: Stripes & Navy

On Wednesday we had in London up to 22ºC with blue sky and big sun so I decided to wear something a bit more fresh for work. A stripes top navy that mixes two of the trend of this season and a sandals hells as comfortable as beautifully  Also I tried a new look with my hair some thing like a Mohawk hair but with pinup touch.

El Miercoles tuvimos en Londres hasta 22ºC con cielo azulisimo y sol enorme, asi que decidi ponerme algo un poco mas freco para trabajar. Un top navy con rayas mezclando dos de las tendencias de esta temporada y unas sandalias de tacon tan comodas como bonitas. Tambien intente un nuevo look algo asi como una cresta mohicana con un toque pinup.

Blanco shop on line

Blanco joins the on-line shopping market trend and presents its new website. It was something that we were waiting for and now it's here, well just in Spain we have to wait a bit more for UK. In my opinion they did a good job, the website is usefull and easy. Today 10% discount for the launch!

Blanco se suma a la venta on-line y presenta su nueva pagina web. Esto era algo que ya estabamos echando en falta y ahora ya esta aquí, bueno solo en España, tendremos que esperar un poquito más para Reino Unido. En mi opinión han hecho un buen trabajo, la web es util y facil de usar. ¡Hoy un 10% de descuento por el lanzamiento!

Inspiration: red & tan

I think, I get some inspiration the night after going to the Yohji Yamamoto exhibition, and I remember I have a red knitwear vest that could remind a kimono when you wear it with a waist belt. I decide to combine with a tan waist belt and sandals in the same colour. Colour contrast!

Creo que tuve inspiración la noche despues de ir a la exposición de Yohji  Yamammoto, y recordé que tengo una chaleco rojo de punto que podria recordar a un Kimono cuando lo llevas con un cinturon en la cintura. Decidí combinarlo con un cinturón en un tono bronceado y sandalias en el mismo color. ¡Contraste de colores!

Yohji Yamamoto

Last week I went to Yohji Yamamoto exhibition  in the V&A Museum. So......what  would you wear  to a known worldwide designer exhibition? I chose a simple and casual look.
La semana pasada fui a la exposicion de yohji Yamamoto en V&A Museum. Asi que... ¿que te pondrias para ir a ver la exposicion de un diseñador mundialmente reconocido? Yo me decidi por look sencillo y casual.

Once ready with my umbrella, I immersed in Yohji Yamamoto's world. Kimonos, comfortable, original and very puffed clothing, it could said of Yohji Yamamoto that he has a unique style without need to follow the season trends because it's always trendy. These are some of the designs that I really like it.
Una vez vestida y con paraguas en mano, me introduje en el mundo de Yohji Yamamoto.  KImonos, prendas comodas, originales y con mucho volumen, se puede decir de Yohji Yamamoto que tiene un estilo unico que no necesita seguir las tendencias por que siempre esta moda. Estos fueron los diseños que mas me gustaron.

Yesterday I changed my hair a little bit I just changed  the way I brushed from left to right and I left it straight, I said before I loved this cut but I didn't know how much I was going to love it, I can do a lot of things and it's easy to do it.

Ayer cambie un poco el estilo de mi pelo, solo cambie el lado hacia el que lo peino de izquierda a derecha y lo deje liso, ya dije que me encantaba antes, pero no sabia cuanto me iba a gustar, puedo hacer con el un monton de cosas y todas son super facil.

Welcome Spring

Last week we had a really sunny and worm days in London, so it is the time to start looking in the wardrobe for our Spring looks. I was so lucky the other day when I went to my wardrobe to have a look and I took a blazer I've seen behind that one it was a really cute  strapy red and white short  jacket that I had complety forgoten I had it.

I loved that feeling because it's more or less like I have just bought it. Also I remember I bought it in Blanco Outlet about 7 year ago  (so cheap) and it's a perfectly trend for this seasson

La semana pasada tuvimos unos dias muy calentitos y soleados en Londres, asi que es el momento de empezar a bucar en el armario nuestros modelitos de primavera. Yo tuve suerte el otro dia, cuando estaba echando un vistazo en mi arnmario y cogi una blazer debajo de esta habia una chaquetita cortita de rayas blancas y rojas que habia olvidados completamente.

Me encanto esa sensacion por que es casi como si la acabara de comprar. Ademas recuerdo que la compre en un Blanco Outlet como hace 7 años ( muy barata) y es perfecta para estar a la ultima esta temporada.

Little discovery

Yesterday I was talking about my new challenge,  to get my new mini  jewellery collections, and today I've seen this amazing ring in the blog life in curl.

Ayer escribí  sobre mi nuevo reto, conseguir dos pequeñas colecciones de bisuteria o joyeria, y justo hoy he visto este impresionante anillo en el blog life in curl.

The problem is, it is a little bit expensive but I think it's something that is worthy. And also Sara G. in her blog give us a good ideas to combine it.

El problema es que es un poquito caro, pero yo creo que una de esas cosas que merecen la pena y ademas Sara G. en su blog nos enseña unas muy buenas ideas para combinarlo.

Jewelery new challenge

I must admit that since I have arrived London I have changed and I have learnt lot about how to have a PERFECT LOOK. I always focus in Fashion, clothes, shoes.... and I always have problems with the accessories, I really didn't know how to match them with my clothes and I used to buy funny necklaces, earring and bangles and in the end I always wear the same ones (my good ones). So now I am learning and I have a new reason to do some shopping, by the moment easy start I just going to look for two mini collection, gold and silver colour.

I was thinking all of this, and last Monday when I was going to work, and was going upstairs in the escalators suddenly in the top a new stand of Jewelery appeared . Destiny, coincidence, it was perfect.

I bought a few things already, the brand is GOGO PHILIP vintage bijoux.

Mango has been more creative this season and instead to have normal look book, has created a SERIE to show every body its collection. The serie is about four girls that they are following their dreams in L.A.

 I couldn't have the opportunity to watch the first episode, that it was last Tuesday, because I am having problems, again, with my connection, but at least I've could check the looks. Waiting to watch the episode, and whatever if the serie is good or not, I think the idea is great, and we can see how look the clothes "more natural" than in picture.

Colour Spring

It looks like in the last weeks that Spring/Summer (more Summer) arrived to the main stores in the high street, because all the windows are full of hot colours and impossible combinations.

For example the new windows of TOPSHOP, they are a festival of stripes (very trendy) and colours leaving, for now spring stamps indoor.

 

This style, it was show to us by Prada last year in the collection SS2011,

Another  example it's Zara they opted more for colour blocking and a look more stylish with straight cuts and very comfortable materials and style loose blouses and dresses.

If we talk about colour blocking we can not forgot, in designer market, Gucci, who has presented a SS2011 collection with plain hot colours skirts, tops, blazers and all of them matching with "audacity".

And also a really "hot" (as usual) publicity campaign.

If some don't remember this that hair tale it's the length of hair last week.

I went to hair dresser in Madrid, Spain, (SIN NOMBRE ESTILISTAS). My good friend Raquel suggested me to go there and also ask for Raul, and I have to say that he is just great and all his team are very very nice.  I definitely came back there. (ohhhh but it's too far)

 I was going to go out on Friday when I will arrive to Madrid so I have to buy them.And It's was like that, how I changed my day look ( work, going to the airport....)  to an informal going out look just changing my shoes and my belt.

New bag, Walet and sunglases

Well, I know,that I said, I was going to post about the London Fashion week but problems with my internet company (Orange) I have had blocked the videos reports of the catwalks and when it was fixed I really haven't had time to watch them.
So before I can write something about that, I'm Going to share with you my latest purchases. Last week I went to T-K-MAXx and I have found a black shoulder bag and a wallet from Liz Claiborne with, with the brand logo mosaic printed  and gold details, and a black  square sunglases with a funny printed inside from  Jean Paul Gaulteir.

It has been raining a lot these last days but it doesn't matter because I have my new umbrella from TOUS.

 The same collection as my bag, the "kaos" collection. It has bags, umbrellas, wallets..... and on different colours.

Pd. Thanks to my Aunt, both of them are presents from her.

New year's Resolution

With the first month of the year gone, I decide to do my "one month later new year's resolution": UPDATE MY BLOG.

This year, well, actually last year, after I started supporting the visual merchandising in my current job (Blanco), I decided, finally, start running my fashion career seriously, and I decided that I want to became Visual Merchandiser, so I looked for courses, and the last month I have started "Visual Merchandiser and Space management 1" in the London college of fashion and in two months I will do the second part. The problem with this is once you start, you can't stop, so now I am checking every day for new courses to have a better professional training, but it's hard to find time for everything when you are working.

I am really happy with this course, it covers all aspects about visual merchandising ( the role, how to start, windows, shop, collection .....); and the lessons are very dynamic , with not too many attendants, so they can be more personal.



Like I said I going to try keep updated this. The next posts should be about the next London fashion week, that will start next week (Friday 18th of February).
