New look

I wanted, for a while now, to change the title of the blog. obviously I don't study physics anymore and it didn't make any sense. Taking the chance of changing the name, I also change the look of the blog to something more dynamic and modern. Hope you like it.

Queria desde hace tiempo ya cambiar el titulo del blog, obviamnet hace tiempo que no studio fisicas y no tenia mucho sentido mantenerlo. Aprovechando el cambio de titulo, el blog a tomado un nuevo look mas dinamico y modern, Espero que os guste.

DIY-Personalize a blazer

The first day I didn't have classes I was a bit bored without having something interesting to do, so  between the boredom and the creativity in my mind I had an idea. I had a white blazer since I was more or less 14 years old, so almost 12 years ago, that I have rarely used so why don't try something different?
El primer dia que no tuve clases, estab un poco aburrida sin tener nada interesante que hacer, asi que entre el aburrimiento y la creatividad en mi mente tu ve una idea. Tenia un americana balnca desde hace como unos doce años que apenas he usado durante los ultimos años, ¿por que no probar algo diferente?

The first thing I did it was  to unpick  the sleeves ( including the lining, but this can be carefully cut too), the next step is sew all the end in the sleeves, and just doing that you have an interesting blazer-vest.
 El primer paso descoser las mangas (incluido el forro, aunque este se puede cortar con mucho cuidado), lo siguiente es coser el dobaldillo de las mangas para tener un chaleco bien construido.
 

 I went further I had some transfer paper sheets left from my last project and I had an illustration that I always wanted to have in my clothe, so I put in the back of the blazer and because this paper it is kind like a sticker once it was on the blazer you could see the border so I stitched around the picture, and I need to stitch some where else to match everything, I decide around the neck.

aprovchando que tenia algunas hojas de papel para transferir  fotos o dibujos a ropa y que siempre he querido una de mi illustraciones en ropa, la puse en la espalda de la americana, este papel actua y tiene la aparencia de una pegatina asi que para terminar y evitar esta apariencia de pagatina que no es muy agardable, cosi alrededor de la foto y para que quede mas en cojunto con la americana tambien cosi alredeor del cuello.

Protection Project Finish

My Foundation Diploma started with a project named PROTECTION, around this theme we had to choose an object an study every small detail; drawing it, taking pictures and doing a really strong research of connection with our object and our drawing;s always having the word protection in mind. The final idea  was to developed fashion illustrations and a fashion piece related with the theme and the object. Also finish with a sketchbook and a portfolio.

El curso empezó con un proyecto llamado PROTECCION, en torno a este tema tuvimos que elegir un objeto y estudiar cada pequeño detalle; dibujándolo, haciendo fotos, y haciendo una gran investigación de conexiones con nuestro objeto y nuestras dibujos, siempre teniendo en mente la palabra protección. La idea final era desarrollar ilustraciones de diseños y una pieza final reaccionada con el tema y el objeto. Además terminar con un skecthbook y un porfolio.

My object was  a dried sunflower,f or the last 5 weeks I have had a whole range of different feelings for it, indifference, hate, frustration, sadness, happiness but at the end I really loved it. 

Mi objeto era un  girasol seco, en las ultimas semanas he sentido indiferencia, odio, frustración, tristeza, y alegría  pero al final solo sentía cariño por el.

and after this I started working in 3D paper sample that could make a fashion piece. This was hard  because  I must only use newspaper and I had to  re-done the same a few times to make look better ( using one colour)  but I am really proud of the result being honest also I have done fashion illustration of some design that I could do in the future with the same theme.

Y después de todo esto empezamos a trabajar en muestras en papel en 3D con las que podríamos crear una pieza final. Esto ha sido duro por que solo podíamos utilizar papel de periódico y he hecho las mismas piezas una y otra vez para mejorarlas ( usando solo un color ), pero el resultado merece la pena, también tengo unos cuantos diseños mas que podría hacer en un futuro en torno al mismo tema.
